. they measure how well educators are doing preparing students for the future. sherrie johnson is live with more. >> reporter: in just a few hours, the state department of education will release the 2011 state assessment results, and they will put them online by about noon today. it takes place this morning at 10:00 right here at the state department office building. msa exams are given to third through 8th grade students in reading and math. more than 360,000 students took the exam. it is used to determine whether it for the no child left behind. there's so many attention last week two baltimore city elementary schools were found cheating. an investigation by the state found two elementary schools cheated on the msas. investigation found staff members at the school tampered with test booklets on 2009 and 2010 state assessment states including changing students answers from right to wrong. investigators also found fort worthington inflated attendance rates to meet goals but new procedures have been put in place to prevent this cheating in the future. baltimore city school ceo says the 2011 test

"news 4 midday." i'm eun yang in for barbara harrison. just minutes ago, leslie johnson entered a guilty plea to her role in what prosecutors describe as a sweeping corruption scheme. >> reporter: i just walked out of a courtroom where mrs. johnson pleaded guilty to one count. a 16-page plea agreement that she evidently signed near the end of march, and because of this admission of guilt, she could be looking up to 20 years in prison. this is the video of mrs. johnson as she entered the federal court here in greenbelt this morning. prosecutors say that back in november as fbi and irs agents bang odden her front door, mrs. johnson tried to destroy and hide illegal checks given to her husband, then executive jack johnson. last month johnson pled guilty to charges of extortion and evidence tampering. he admitted to accepting a $100,000 change in exchange for securing a project for at least one developer. he will be sentenced in september. prosecutors say he could face 13 to 15 years in prison. prosecutors say they have phone recorders of mr. johnson telling his wife to tear up and
